A Vest and a Pair of Toms

Ever have an outfit that you feel like is just so you? Or maybe multiple outfits, because in true girl fashion, I like to dress to suit my mood. But for a day when I am just feeling ordinarily like me? This is it.  Why? Comfort, of course, but mostly gold glitter Toms!!

Now, I must warn you- these are youth Toms. Typically, I wear a 6.5 in women’s shoes, but in women Toms I wear a 5. In youth Toms, I wear a 4! I also think the youth sizes have more durable soles [being meant for kids and all] so if you can swing it, try them out! And if you haven’t tried out Toms at all, get on that now! They have easily been the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned, and I’m ashamed proud to say that I own more pairs of Toms than anything else. One for one, and all. And this vest? I wore it last week in this post, and am anticipating its appearance in many others this year. It’s from J. Crew Factory, so it’s quite exceptional quality. Right now, it’s 50% off, which is rare. I love all the vests that J. Crew is carrying right now, but this one stole my heart. I even bought the black and white printed vest and switched it out, just because I could warrant the wear of this one so much more. I wish I could convince myself I need more than one and add this to my collection too!

Every wardrobe needs a striped shirt– It can just be worn so many ways!! One quality that sold me on this one is the length- I’m not the biggest fan of shirts that rest at the top of my jeans. Longer shirts seem to help elongate my short torso, and I’ll take all the help I can get with that! Another necessity in a wardrobe is a tan purse because they also can go with everything. You certainly get your money’s worth out of it; it’s from Old Navy is right around $15. The one I have is a faux leather, but they have the same bag in suede in a variety of colors. My favorite [and if I could convince myself to spend $100 on a bag right now] would most definitely be this Patricia Nash bag.
