A Bell Sleeved Top

First things first, Lent begins this week! And you know what’s a perfect thing to do for Lent? Start a new devotional. Well, would you looky there; I happened to write one! Head to the Heartbeat tab in my main menu to find out more :).

Also, I need to explain why I’m wearing tights that kind of look pink even though they’re supposed to be mauve. It was 65 here Friday. It was 20 Sunday morning, with a wind chill of 8, when these were taken. I had completely expected to not need tights at all, buttttt I’m not crazy to the extent of choosing to be frozen. And yesterday morning, when looking for my nude pair of tights, they just happened to be missing-in-action. Leaving the mauve, and an unintentional color combination.

Be prepared to start crushing on this little bell-sleeved darling.

Ok, did you not just fall in love with this top throughout this post? Because I’m pretty sure I did, all over again. AND GET THIS. It’s only $9! I honestly thought, based on the pictures on the website, that it would fit me more awkwardly than it does. I kind of sort of love it. I can’t wait to pair it with white shorts in the spring and summer, and find new skirts to tuck it into. It’s just the cutest thing ever.

Would it be corny if I wear this to go see the new Beauty and the Beast movie coming out soon? Because you know, bell sleeves… Belle… it’s like destiny. I don’t know the last time I was this excited for a movie; I get chills every time I see a new clip or trailer. You better believe I’ll be in the earliest showing I absolutely can, giddy as a kid in a candy store.

Have you tried this bell sleeve trend? I highly recommend it; it adds the perfect flirty vibe to an outfit and helps take your look up to the next level.
