When you clean out your closet…

…you find all sorts of goodies! Exhibit A: this shawl. Confession: I’m not positive that this is how it’s supposed to be worn. I know there are loads of possibilities. But I like it this way, so it goes!classy black shawl, burgundy shirt, and black boots

I wouldn’t necessarily consider myself a classy lady. I’m southern, no doubt. And I know my manners and I respect my elders. But I wouldn’t go so far as to label myself classy. There’s just something about wearing a shawl, or even a poncho, that seems to up the class factor. Also increasing classiness is: a glass of wine, a perfect yet subtle pair of heels, and being able to quote a Brontë sister.

What’s classy to you?
