I don’t know about where you are, but the weather here in Greensboro this past week has been absolutely perfect. Like, sunny with that gentle light breeze perfect. And you know what goes hand-in-hand with perfect weather? Pretty little summer dresses. And you know who always has the prettiest and super affordable dresses on stock? Old Navy.
I purchased this dress originally to accompany on a few bridal related events, such as bachelorette parties and bridal showers. It’s cute and sassy without being flashy or over-the-top. It also can easily be dressed up or down, depending on jewelry and shoes. I’m really glad one shoulder pieces are coming back into style now, because I never really kicked them out of my wardrobe. I’ve always been a fan of how they look, more so than off-the-shoulder tops. I think they can work with different breadth and types of shoulders better.
These shoes? I have 5 pairs of Jacks, 3 of which are jellies. These were my favorite, and they were worn accordingly. Unfortunately, the teacher wear-and-tear caused them to break halfway through a school day, and my usual go-to of hot glue just didn’t cut it. I was SO sad to lose them, but my students thought it was hilarious. Lucky for me, I happened to stumble upon them in Belk the other day. I think I kind of scared the sales associate with my excitement… but I’m not ashamed. When you think you’ve lost a pair of shoes forever and ever and find out you haven’t – win!
I’ve linked some other favorites from Old Navy below, but this one happens to be on sale!
Also, tell me this isn’t the cutest little girl in the world:)! This is my family’s chihuahua, Harley, the most precious princess there is. Just look at that face! It makes me giggle every time.
Happy Monday, friends.
