Chillier Days For Spring

So, I always thought that North Carolina was more of an anomaly in its crazy unpredictable weather patterns; that is, until I became a blogger. Then, I realized that crazy weather happens just about everywhere. And while we enjoyed an abso-lutely beautiful day today, I’m not convinced that the warmer days are here to stay.

While I like white jeans year-round, they particularly pair well with the springtime. And even though I haven’t pulled out my brights yet, light grays help bridge that winter/spring gap.

Gray Cardigan // White Jeans // Over the Knee Boots // Plaid Flannel (no longer available in this print, but in many others!// Earrings // Taudrey Necklace c/o (literally wear this daily!) // Coffee Mug

Did you catch the super cute guest appearance in this post? I specifically remember someone mentioning in my New Year survey that they wanted to see more of Pippa on the blog (pretty sure it was my mom) and I could not agree more. She’s too cute to not feature:)! She loves being held like a baby, which I selfishly kind of LOVE. Gimmie the cuddles all day every day.

As far as this outfit, it’s definitely for weather chillier than the 70 degrees we had today, but still fits the spring vibe category. I’ve been loving tans and light grays on white lately; they are the perfect neutral combination for this time of year. Every time I see another blogger styling a look with those pair-ups, I want to copy it the next day! I could replace my navy flannel with such a variety of tops (maybe even a cute white top and some Toms?) and this outfit would still work.

I spent part of yesterday morning thinking it was Friday, and part of yesterday afternoon thinking it was Wednesday. Let’s hope I can remember what day it is today so as to prevent any more of those crushing moments when you realize the weekend is much farther away!;)
