So I was just thinking about how much I loved the pale rose quartz color of this necklace with dark teal… and then I realized that it was my wedding colors. When you find a winning combination, you stick with it:).
Teal Tunic (Same color, same tunic) // Tote Bag // Jeans // Mules // Watch // Kendra Scott Necklace and Earrings c/o Rocksbox (get one month free with code “darlingdearestblogxoxo”) // Carolyn Hearn Designs Bracelets (get 20% off with code DDB20)
So, I’m about to send this necklace back in my Rocksbox, and it really pains me to do that. I’ve become quite attached to it, but I’ve never spent $60 on a necklace before. Even with a discount, it just isn’t in my shopping budget.
I wore this outfit on a mini date night with my husband the other week, and it was perfect for that not-too-fancy-but-still-want-to-look-cute type of thing. The small height increase that mules give me help make any outfit feel just a touch dressier, and statement jewelry make a casual top have a classier vibe. I find myself wanting to reach for a tunic constantly because they seem to have a slimming tendency. They are definitely a top I plan to add more of to my wardrobe!
