Fall, Style

A Different Kind of Sweater

This sweater originally caught my eye because it was unlike any that I had seen before. And because it had fringe… I love me some fringe:).

Darling, Dearest

While it isn’t the most slimming sweater, it certainly has that “cozy” look to it. I chose to style it with jeans and over-the-knee boots, but I think it would be super cute with leggings. I also wore a longer tank top underneath to give it that added length. I could even see it with a white button-up underneath and maybe some black skinny jeans for a cozy/sophisticated juxtaposition.

On another note, can I just say that the leaves change so stinkin’ fast around here? I feel like I was eagerly awaiting their colorful arrival, and then BAM – I’m rushing so that I don’t miss it. I’ve even begged my husband to squeeze in a mini hike in between school and a football game on Friday just so I can enjoy what little bit will be left. There is no fall prettier than fall in the mountains.

How’s your week going, friends?

This sweater is adorable! Totally something I would wear. The leaves really do change quickly! I’m not ready for winter yet haha I want to appreciate the foliage 🙂

  • Your first sentence is so funny. It’s one of the reasons why I don’t like chunky sweaters for myself. It does look like such a soft and cozy sweater though. I love the color and the fringe. And yes, the leaves change way too quickly and drop to the ground way too fast. I wish it would last longer.

Such a cute sweater- love the fringe!!! I couldn’t agree more about the leaves changing, it’s almost like it happened over night here too, hah! This week I’m prepping for a trip to Mexico (can’t believe it’s here!) As much as I’m sad to be missing out on this gorgeous fall weather, I can’t wait to get out in the sun (and a much needed break from work!)

  • That is such a pretty color on you! And, you can’t say no to a sweater with fringe. I hear you about the leaves – the same thing is happening here! One of our trees in the front yard is nearly bare already.
