Summer is drawing to a close very quickly, and while I love fall so much, I’m slightly sad to see summer go! It most certainly was a season full of life and fun and adventures and joy. What better way to extend it than by keeping bright colors around a little longer?
If I’m being honest, I’m just recently starting to be more comfortable when mixing patterns. Stripes are a very easy place to start because most other patterns can be worn with them. I chose to throw in an elephant scarf to add a little more color. I love elephants and that’s often apparent through my choice of jewelry or Lilly Pulitzer accessories. This scarf is from Francesca’s and is a few years old, but I’ve linked two similar scarves below!
Elephant trinkets I love:
This shirt is easy to pair with so many outfits and has just the right amount of bagginess that I feel at ease wearing it. It’s also Carolina blue and white, so it definitely has that going for it:). The skirt is the same one that I wore in this post, just in black. You can find a similar one here from J. Crew and here from Kohl’s.
