My husband sees me in a wide variety of outfits. He gets bum clothes the most, but he also gets to see all the types of dressed-up. And when he saw this one?
“Oh. I like this one!”
What a boy;).
LuLaRoe Cassie Skirt c/o // Similar Old Navy Top // Similar Purse // Marley Lilly Necklace // Toms
I don’t have many items in my wardrobe as form-fitting as this one, but I definitely think this is a good addition. It makes me kind of sort of wish I had more opportunities to wear something like it, but I’m determined to style it in a teacher-appropriate way. I think a top tucked in the front but loose in the back would work! This would be my first choice, though, with a top tucked in like this.
Out of all the LuLaRoe pieces I received, this is the most patterned piece. Sabrina, one of the consultants I’m working with, selected it, and I don’t think I could have picked a more perfect pattern for myself. It’s the best combination of feminine and dainty and just a touch sassy. Confession. I might’ve worn this skirt around my house the other day while tidying up (Katherine Heigl in The Ugly Truth anyone?) #noshame.
This outfit could also be kicked up on the powerhouse scale by throwing on some heels, but I kind of like the vibe that Toms give it. It makes it so true to me and my style. With the addition of these, I now own more Toms than any other type of shoe. They are my ultimate go-to, and were almost my wedding shoes. But some pointed heels? I could dig that.
Here’s to making it through half of the week, and being a few days closer to the weekend. Goodness knows I need it this week!
