Y’all, rocking high-waisted jeans as a short girl that isn’t less than 100 pounds? That’s not easy. But I just love the look it can create, almost an old-fashioned type of look.
So the jeans are great, and comfortable, and easy to wear when I have a food baby, which are all great things. But the best component of this fall outfit? The oversized sweater.
I should go ahead and warn you- I literally have 2 drawers full of oversized sweaters. Two years ago, I was so hooked on them that I think I honestly went to 5 different Goodwill’s trying to find ones I couldn’t live without. They were my daily uniform over the last two winters- oversized sweaters and leggings. This olive green cardigan is most certainly of the mens variety, and in the large size. Yes, it swallows me, but that is precisely what makes it so wonderful!
With the rest of the outfit being darker, more neutral/earthy tones, I like throwing in a light element to liven it up. The best thing about this scarf is that it isn’t an obnoxious bright coral, but rather a softer, more romantic hue. It goes very well with flushed cheeks in the winter:)! The one I am wearing is older from Charlotte Russe, but all of these are great picks [and all are less than $15!]
Please note the incredibly large amount of leaves on the ground in the pictures above. This is the product of the endless rain.
