Sometimes, others pick out items for you that you end up liking more than ones you’ve pick for yourself. Which is precisely why most everything is worth trying on.

A friend of mine owns a little boutique booth in Farmer’s Hardware in Boone. His booth contains an assortment of shoes, purses, tops, and accessories that I always end up wanting all of. He surprised me with this top and I’ve quickly fallen for the detail on it. Large buttons, flattering stitching, and a comfortable length make this such an easy and reliable top to wear.
I really think that lavender is a color that I don’t own enough of. It’s such an appealing color for the transition between winter and spring – lending to the cool tones of winter and compatible with the brights of spring. Purple is also supposed to be a shade that brings out green eyes. I think it boils down to the need to shop more, don’t you?
On a side note – props to the husband for taking detail pictures when I didn’t exactly know he could:)!
