The Classic LPD- Little Pink Dress!

Fierce.
That’s how this dress makes me feel. Step aside, Little Black Dress.
Now, I’m not typically comfortable standing out in a crowd, but every once in a while, it feels good to be bright. It puts a little extra strut in your step or sway in your hips. You won’t see me in a ton of neon, but every girl needs this kind of dress. Like a good pair of red high heels, it carries a little bit of power:)

This pink dress is from a local boutique called Boone Belles. You can call and order over the phone [they’ve had this dress on stock most of the summer] but I’ve also linked the exact same dress in bright yellow and other LPD’s that are certain to be show stoppers.

Now these loose curls??? My hair is normally naturally curly. Like ridiculous, Shirley-Temple-esque curly. And I love it, really I do. It took some time and a whole lot of hair product, but I [somewhat] tamed the beast that is frizz and learned to love my hair. However, every once in a while, it’s nice to change it up. This is my favorite way to do that. The crazy thing is, how do I make these loose curls? I curl it. I curl my insanely curly hair, and it straightens it out. I wish I had learned that trick in the days of Pre-Teen Emily and the Afro That Rivals the 80’s.

So put a drink in my hand and give me my best gal pals, I think I could tackle the world in this dress. Or maybe just the world in my head. But hey, that’s a start;)!
