Every girl deserves that one dress they feel absolutely beautiful in. Of course, no dress will ever top how I felt in my wedding dress, but my junior year prom dress is a close second. It was actually my sister’s senior year dress, and I dreamt of wearing it up until the day I actually got to. I think because young, impressionable Emily really did feel pretty in that dress, this shade of blue has always made me feel that way. I feel dressier, classier, dolled-up.
This is the second look of my collaboration with two LuLaRoe consultants, Sabrina and Shelli. Today is a big day for them- they are launching a new group, The Leggings Queens! Be sure to stop by their personal Facebook pages as well as their new group and join in on the fun! Facebook groups are how must LuLaRoe consultants sell items.
I shared my love for LuLaRoe leggings in Monday’s post, and I happen to be wearing them right now as I write this. I’ve tried 5 different styles, and I think that’s enough to say everything from LuLaRoe is comfortable. This dress, while being form fitting, is still incredibly comfortable. I’ve seen it styled with cardigans and jean jackets, but also love it styled by itself! It does a great job of making you feel both modest and sexy at the same time. I felt like I could go dancing in it, so I paired it with my favorite Fit in Clouds flats;).
I’d love to hear if you have a color like this that always makes you feel pretty, or how you like to style the Nicole dress!
For kicks and giggles, here’s the original blue dress I wore a whopping 10 years ago:) (Shut the front door… prom was 10 years ago?!? This aging thing needs to stop.)
And my mom… because she’s precious.
