That was exactly what my husband said when he saw me in this dress. It’s definitely a touch bolder than I typically go, but it’s always easiest for me to branch out with jewel tones than any other shades of colors. And this purple-ish fuschia shade is the perfect compliment to a summer tan;).

I also got told by a stranger at a restaurant at the beach that this is my color, so I’m going to count that as a win. Kind of. It’s only available in Old Navy stores as this type of dress, but they have this pattern in both a top and a sleeved dress. I think it would look super cute with white jeans!
So guys, this is kind of a big week for me. This weekend, I have my (first ever) book signing at It Is Well, a new Christian book store in West Jefferson. I’m somewhat super nervous about that ((how in the world do you do a book signing? What do I write? ANY pointers appreciated!!)) but I’m sure it’ll be fun! They’ve got a gospel quartet coming too, so lots to check out! I’d love to see any local Boone friends there on Saturday.
On Sunday, I have the honor of getting to share a little bit about my journey with part of my church family. At 10:00, I’ll be chatting on the lawn at Boone UMC regarding the adventure the Lord decided that Heartbeat was bound to be:). Again, nervous, but not quite to the same extent. So here we go!
Hope your week is going well, friends!
