The Perfect Dress for Spring

Ok, so this might be a maternity dress, but it definitely could pass as a regular dress, too! I can’t wait to wear it after this little girl comes, and next spring as well!

This dress happens to come in a variety of colors, including black, cobalt, the prettiest pale pink, and a mauve I truly believe I need.

Now that we are getting in the hang of having 5-day weeks at school (meaning no snow days) and the sun is shining a bit more, I’m all in ready for spring. I can always tell when I start getting in that mood, as I start wearing brighter colors on a regular basis. Despite a crazy windstorm we had this past weekend, with a teensy bit of snow Friday morning, Boone is looking like it’s just about ready for spring, too!

Pastels always tend to be my go-to for springy vibes, but this dress has a leg up thanks to the scalloped edges. Tell me that isn’t such a spring-centered characteristic! It’s one that I absolutely love because it just seems so timeless and feminine.

Those two descriptors, timeless and feminine, seem to be playing a big role in my life these days, as they’re also words I’d use to describe baby girl’s name – which we finally have decided on! We’re thinking of revealing the initials later on, but the name will stay a secret till she’s born:).

Coming to the blog later this week will be a second-trimester bumpdate to ring in the third trimester – which, how in the world is that already here?!? And with that brings about my gestational diabetes screening on Friday, so throw up an extra prayer that goes well! Carbs and sugar have literally been two of the things I’ve wanted most during this pregnancy… so I’m worried that won’t be working in my favor.

Be sure to check out the other items from Pink Blush that have been on the blog lately, including this striped shirt, this burgundy shirt, and this lovely floral dress!
