You guys, I can. not. WAIT. to find all the different occasions to wear this dress! At first, I just thought it was an abstract pattern, but I really liked the color combination in it. At a closer glance, it’s definitely a romantic floral print which makes it even more up my alley! We don’t really have any great greenery this time of the year to give it a good backdrop for pictures, but I kind of love how it pops against all that white snow!
I full on expected before getting pregnant that I would just want to wear all of my looser fit clothing, that I wouldn’t need many maternity items. I completely underestimated how much I’d want to show of my belly. Even though this one is flowy, the empire waist tremendously helps to show the curve of the top of my belly, making me actually look pregnant and not just really full:).
I’m also loving how thick of a fabric this is. It’s cool enough that I’ll definitely be able to wear it during the warmer spring and summer months, but is in no way see-through. I’ve tried on a few of my other floral dresses with my bump, and have been surprised by how thin the fabric looks over my belly. Maternity makes a big difference!
It’s also equipt for the nursing days thanks to the overlapping neckline. That just means I get even more wear out of it! I’m thinking that it’ll be able to fit me when my belly returns to normal size as well.
I’m truly considering this for my baby shower. PinkBlush has SO MANY dresses perfect for an event like that or maternity pictures. That just made it difficult to pick! I’ve already got my eye on some others, like this beauty.
PinkBlush is pretty well known as a destination for maternity clothing. While they’ve got a selection for every girl, their maternity collection is one of the largest I’ve seen. I didn’t know what to expect in the quality, but I’m truly impressed. The prices really are affordable for what you’re getting.
I might be showing up to school overdressed a day or two, but I think my students will let it slide. It’s worth it when you have a dress like this! The day it arrived in the mail, I took it out of the bag straight from the mailbox, freezing cold, and put it on because I just couldn’t wait. I think I also shared a picture on my InstaStories right away – I really do love it so much!
Mamas and Mamas-to-be, I’d love to hear where you got your baby shower outfits from and what you chose to wore!
