I apologize for how many pictures are in this post, and I apologize in advance for how many of these pictures will make their way onto Instagram, but really… roses? Everything is better with roses.
So, we had a completely different location picked for these pictures (see the tan wall above) which happened to be directly beside the bathrooms at our location. Lo and behold, an entire group of hikers walked out of the bathroom while we were beginning to shoot, which means that an instant awkward feeling will ensue. My husband was just standing there, laughing and shooting away, knowing how so stinkin’ uncomfortable I was.
That timidness led to journeying out across a gravel road and down a few hills in heels, mind you, only to stumble upon this gorgeous trellis. I walked through it and felt like I needed to be donning an 1800s dress, getting ready to have tea, or perhaps meet my own Rochester. It made me feel like I was in a fairytale. And I’m always down for feeling like I’m in a fairytale. (Hence my storybook wedding.)
This top most definitely will be accompanying me on vacation these next two weeks. It might just be the top I’ve picked to explore New Orleans today. Definitely the perfect top to enjoy a beignet (or two or three) in:)!
