December! My heart is happy. Fall might be my favorite season, but winter [or the December-February season] certainly gives me the most warm fuzzies. I am all for some fireside sittin’, Christmas tree gazin’ and hot cocoa sippin’. And warm blanket snuggling. Which, when trying to achieve that via clothing, a fur vest comes pretty darn close.
Whenever I wear this at school, I have little children rubbing my sides all day. Weird…yes. You learn to expect the unexpected in a school building, especially when the smallest ones are involved. But I can’t blame them, because I do it to!
I’m also a big fan of the combination of olive green and light pink. I’m, quite obviously, guilty of loving olive green a bit much seeing as how my last 3 outfit posts all feature it. This certain shade can be very earthy, almost army-like, and that makes the pink just perfect for a little feminine touch. These pants almost have a jegging feel without the glued-to-your-skin look. They have a high enough waist that I can wear them with fitted shirts and not feel self-consciuos the whole time [because, lets be real, Thanksgiving hits hard]. And best part? They are super inexpensive. They don’t offer the green online, but they do have other options available.
And at last… when your sister takes your pictures and she’s a photoshop pro, you find this posted on Facebook. And you die laughing. And you share it with everyone you can. Because everyone wants to be in a picture with Buddy.
