I so badly wish I was a hat person. I see others wear them, my sister wear them, and I’m always envious of how cute they look. Charming, darling. This one was a “pick-me-up” purchase, and I think I half bought it cause I so rarely find ones I actually like on. I called my mom after, and she said that was the best thing that came out of our trip to New Orleans: I started wearing hats.
So I think these might be the most comfortable pair of heels I own. They add a whopping 5 inches to my 5’2″ frame, and did. not. hurt. ONCE. after an entire day wearing them! Not the highest quality in the world, but for the price? I will gladly pay $35 for this kind of comfort with this kind of height. If it wouldn’t look weird to rock 5″ heels to teach, I’d definitely be wearing these to school. Anything to make me taller than at least some of the middle schoolers #theygrowupsofast.
This tunic will also be getting loads of wear from this girl. It’s a great length and just the right kind of fabric to be able to work in fall and spring, but lightweight enough for summer as well. I’ve noticed that I keep adding more leggings to my collection, but seem to reach for the same tunics time and time again. I’m definitely on the hunt for more like this, and would love to hear any favorites you have!
This Monday brings about 13 days left of school (again, but who’s counting?;)) andddd 37 weeks for my sister. If you follow Darling, Dearest on Instagram, then you know I’m
kind of sort of obsessed with the little boy already. Here’s to hoping he joins us soon!
