The Type of Top to Accentuate your Bump

In terms of showing off that bump, of course there’s nothing that beats a completely fitted top. But sometimes, the confidence to wear a fitted top just isn’t there. But you still want to look pregnant, and you still want people to notice your bump.

Enter the babydoll. Or empire waist, whichever you would prefer to call it. It works wonders at making the little section inbetween your chest and bump look smaller, therefore showcasing your bump actually sticking out. It’s a rather darling style in general!

I haven’t even had this shirt from Pink Blush for 2 weeks, and I’ve already found a more than a few occasions to wear it. The color is that beautiful burgundy but almost purplish shade, which looks good on just about every skin tone. I will say, it can give me quite a bit of cleavage…. but I think that’s pretty much going to be anything like this during this time of my life;).

Pink Blush has this top in 6 colors, including this burgundy, white, black, navy, and more. There’s also a similar version in this lovely lavender shade. I mentioned it in a previous post, but I really didn’t realize how much I’d want to wear maternity clothes while pregnant. They seem to make all the difference in how I feel about myself, which definitely makes them worth it! Right now, I’m battling big-time tiredness, backaches, and some almost-daily nausea, so I’ll take anything that makes me feel good instead!
