I have been wanting to try velvet pieces for quite some time now. Every time I see someone else wearing it, it always looks so luxurious and pretty. I think I can sufficiently say that my gut instinct of loving velvet was correct – definitely worth it!
I love that I could definitely wear an outfit like this to work, but that it’s also classy enough to make me feel like a powerhouse business woman. I’ve also worn this top with jeans, and am excited to see what other textures and patterns I can combine it with.
I mentioned that I’ve been blending navy with black a good bit lately, and the easiest way for me to bridge that gap has been with this purse. Whenever it comes to purchasing a nice (read: expensive) purse for myself, I tend to always go to Coach. It helps that we have an outlet close by. Fun Fact: I recently turned down an opportunity to work with Coach! What they were asking for did not fit my branding and wasn’t something that I felt was reasonable based on the feel of my blog and social media feeds. It was one of those moments that made me realize how far I’ve come – that I have the option and ability to be selective with whom I work with. That should encourage you guys that I’ll only share companies and products that I can really get behind:).
