You guys. The wind! It has been SO windy here lately (which isn’t the best if you’ve heard of the fires spreading across the NC mountains as of late). I love that it’s finally chilly here, because the husband is letting me take full advantage of our fireplace. I just don’t necessarily love the wind. So, if you will, pardon the mess of curls going every which way, and enjoy the prettiest pink vest:).
Something about this sweet pale pink color with white just lends to a wintery vibe. Pink is so often associated with spring, but it’s just too lovely of a shade to not enjoy year round. Wearing it in a vest, scarf, or sweater help to bridge that gap. While I’m wearing the vest in a medium, I think a large would have worked too.
And short girls with short legs – you need over-the-knee boots! I struggle with the oh-so-stereotypical problem of having my thighs touch… and being self conscious of that. I kid you not, I put on leggings last week and they straight ripped in the seams. My husband laughed But, the purpose of sharing my embarrassment is that OTK boots give me confidence when my thighs don’t. They have this way of lengthening and thinning legs that is a-okay with me. This pair is currently 50% off, true to size, and stays up over your knee.
Let me hear your thanksgiving plans, friends! I’d love to know what you have going on this week:)

You guys, I'm that girl. The one with a little red bubble above my inbox app that has a ridiculously embarrassing number in it. I get the problem of overfilling your email. So my emails? I guarantee that anything I send you will be worthy of that precious little space. You'll get words from the heart, the bloopers that make blogging an adventure, and things that I hope will truly bring you joy!
