Sometimes I forget that December is still mostly fall. I group Christmas right in with winter and forget that fall, my favorite season, it still in our midst. This cozy little dress helps me with that, as it’s the perfect burnt orange color that fits this time of the year.
I don’t typically pair up colors like this – I shy away from bold colors in general, so putting them together is certainly out of my comfort zone. I really wish that I had a brown faux-fur stole or vest to wear with it, because I think that would just up the fall factor and make me feel a bit more comfortable.
What I really love about this dress, though, is the material. It’s like the fabric weight of a thermal undershirt but the feel of a sweater, and oh-so-cozy. It looks a bit more “burnt” than these pictures convey. It has a very unusual neckline, but it doesn’t feel revealing at all like some dresses this style do.
And these tights, I’m kind’ve a huge fan of them. The color is perfect for the holiday season and I love the sweater pattern. Old Navy doesn’t have the same exact pair on the website, but you can definitely find them in the store! They’ll be in a different outfit tomorrow, too:).
26 days until Christmas!
