Typically, I can’t always tell the difference between drug store makeup and makeup that’s a touch pricier and a good bit nicer. Until I meet products that do exactly what they say they are going to.
The Estee Edit is a new line of Estee Lauder products sold at Sephora. They’re pretty affordable, and while some can be somewhat run-of-the-mill, a few of the items are definitely worth the money.
Definitely my personal favorite of the set. I received the Night Light shade and I loved it. I have used it for contouring, eyeshadow, and bronzer so far. A little goes a long way, and I have no doubt this product will last me quite a while. It isn’t too shimmery, which I always worry about. I’ve heard great things about the other shades as well, but I’m sold on this one.
My second favorite of the set – this thing works wonders. I was amazed with the difference it made, and I tried to take pictures but they just don’t do it justice. It made my face look so smooth; it even seemed to make wrinkles less visible. My only complaint is that I’m using it too frequently. This product doesn’t seem quite as lasting as the others.
This 2 in 1 product does exactly what it says it’ll do: give you that dewy glow. Personally, I don’t love the dewy look. It’s nice to have for nights out when I’m wanting to look a bit more fresh-faced, but not going to be a go-to kind of thing. It is easy to mix with foundations and other products though. I’ve used the highlighter hidden in the cap on my cheekbones and under my brows, but once again it would be a product to use on nights out – it adds quite a bit of shine.
Love the color of this lipstick. It feels like a lip cream or butter more so than anything. It does transfer easily, but it also applies easily. No creases or weird clumps over time either. I tend to gravitate toward darker lip colors, so I’m excited to get some use out of this one this fall.
