A Festive Valentine’s Collaboration

There is something that’s so feminine about a dainty white skirt. And what day is better than Valentine’s day to feel feminine;)?Darling, Dearest

Today’s also a special day because I’m not alone in sharing a festive Valentine’s look! I’ve teamed up with  4 fellow bloggers to share our take on Valentine’s Day. Make sure you stop by their blogs to check out their lovely outfits!

“For this Valentine’s Look that can take me from work to a date night, I decided to shop my closet. I have always loved pairing Leopard with Red. For this look I mixed prints by adding a subtle pinstriped jacket on top. And since all the clothes are items I have owned for a long time, I did accessorize with new jewelry from Rocksbox.”
“When I happened upon this dress at Nordstrom Rack, I knew it was the perfect way to incorporate Valentine’s Day romance into my wardrobe without being too saccharine. (I’m not one to go overboard with pink and red on the big day.) This dress stays true to my style with a whimsical print that’s wearable throughout the year, thanks to the graphic black and white design.”
“Hey Everyone! First and foremost thank you Ada for hosting this collaboration for Valentine’s Day. My look is extremely subtle for those of you who don’t like to wear too much red or anything too festive for Valentine’s Day. This is something that I would definitely wear to dinner because it’s black with a pop of pink, and the pants have enough room if I eat too much at dinner with my date!”
“When Pinkblush asked me to share their products, I jumped at the chance. I fell in love with this floral dress and had to style it for Valentine’s Day.  I decided to add a little edge with the leather jacket and lace up shoes against the soft floral pattern.”
“Valentine’s Day is a day where I want to feel girly. Embrace my femininity and get all dolled-up. That’s exactly what this outfit does for me. The daintiness of the lace skirt and the bold red top – even the nude heels! I feel pretty in it. Whether it be drinks with the girls or date night with my boy, I’m ready!”

This white skirt is from J. Crew Factory’s spring line last year, but there are many stores that carry a similar style! The looks that I’m drawn to the most on other bloggers are always ones that include items like this. It can be styled to fit so many different occasions. Even though I already have one, I’d love to add this skirt to my wardrobe. At that price, I just might!

While vibrant red and pink would both be excellent choices to pair with white for Valentine’s Day, I’m a little partial to this deep red. It’s a very romantic color, and with nude pumps, makes the outfit a little more classy. This shirt is also older, from Old Navy, so I linked the current version of it! Old Navy tees are my favorite.

What adds the last little bit of romance to this outfit? These earrings are my wedding earrings. I try to wear them sparingly, but I do believe Valentine’s Day is a worthy exception. This necklace is also the first “G” jewelry I received, and a gift from my husband. I wear it almost daily!

What makes you feel feminine and romantic?
