A Fun Fringe Jacket

Y’all. I’m a little surprised with just how much I love this outfit! This jacket is kind of out of my comfort zone – it has like a 70s vibe going on. But it’s so fun to wear! I feel a little sass in my step when I walk in it. The boots don’t hurt, either;).

Also, anyone else loving the trees in these pictures? Why can’t fall be the backdrop for all pictures year round? Darling, Dearest Darling, Dearest Darling, Dearest

I ordered a medium in this suede jacket, but probably could even have gone to a large. It definitely is meant to be shorter in nature. It’s from Sammydress, and it’s literally $10. It’s definitely not incredible quality, but definitely worth the $10! I’m excited to try my hand at wearing it with a swing dress to work, or maybe out on a date with a black tank!

Now these boots? This commemorates the first time I have worn my brand new Frye boots on the blog. And y’all, I can guarantee it is the first of many. I have wanted Frye boots for so, so long, and finally allowed myself to try them on at Belk. The husband has heard me mention multiple times just how much I need a good pair of boots – ones that will last longer than a season or two. I tend to buy the $40 or $50 pairs that get worn like crazy but need to be replaced by the following year. Trying them on made me realize two things: 1. Either my calves are huge or other girls just have tiny legs, and 2. I needed a pair now.

Sooooo I resorted to the place I always resort when trying to find an item at a lesser price: Amazon. And lo and behold, I found this darling pair of wide-calf boots for… get this… $200! They have the regular size and multiple colors available for this price. And if you’re new to Frye, you’d say I’m crazy for spending that much. But this exact style? It runs $368 on the Frye website. So yes, I’ll take $200 please and thank you:) And y’all, I’m still completely in love!

Happy Wednesday, friends:)
