I know, I’m like 4 months late on sharing these. I cannot believe they were taken THE LITERAL DAY BEFORE Scarlett came. Truth be told, I kind of credit the fact that I was hiking around a waterfall to her timely appearance a day later!
My sister and I both know our way around a camera, her much more so than me. I rarely get professional pictures done (unless it’s Robert Chou Photography!!) because Mel’s just as good, and I can be blunt about what I like and don’t like. We also have very similar taste, just different editing styles. She spent her first Mother’s Day out with us taking these!
Mel and I worked together on deciding where to shoot and what to wear. We wanted the feel to reflect my ideal nursery– whimsical and romantic and woodsy. I think we did a GREAT job with that! The dress came from Amazon for a whopping $27. It’s definitely see-through, but I think some exceptions are made for maternity photography. I’m fine with my big belly showing through!
I feel like a princess in these pictures, and I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Lincoln already loved Scarlett before he even met her:)! This is one shot we will treasure for years to come!
I miss my big belly like crazy. Blows my mind to think that Scarlett was in there! So much love brought to our lives:)!
