Is it just me, or does anyone else feel ultra business-y when they wear a shirt dress? Something about the streamlined shape and collared look always makes me feel much more like a powerhouse than I actually am:).

I’m a fan of the slim look of a shirt dress sans belt, but it never hurts to add a feminine flair to any outfit. The best thing about a braided belt is that it’s so incredibly adjustable for wherever on your waist you want to wear it. I don’t often wear belts around my hip, but I like having the ability if I so chose to on a pair of jeans. Braided belts also allow room to adjust for that after-meal belly, which is always a plus!
Seeing as how half of my outfit is from Old Navy, it’s fitting to mention that today is the last day to use Super Cash! If you sign up for Old Navy emails, you should have it in your inbox. Any excuse for more ON gear is a-ok with me, and this coupon is basically 40% off your entire purchase (once you hit the specific price points). Spending $30 sounds much more reasonable than $50, right?;) Add in a pair of their $2.50 flip-flops, and you can get the dress from this post for $15!!
