It’s not typical for me to wear tops that are this shape (shorter and wider), but there’s just something about this one that drew me in. It’s so feminine, and it makes me feel like I need to be at a brunch or winery while wearing it. Which happen to be two things I love.
I live in one of the absolute best towns. I could live here for fifty years and still be discovering new things about it all the time. That’s the beauty of living somewhere that has a culture based so heavily on the outdoors – discovery is it’s very nature. I might occasionally gripe and complain about missing the hustle and bustle and anonymity of the city, but I do recognize the blessing I have in being a local of Boone.
I also love that pretty weather makes me crave brighter colors. And wear sandals. And that it comes bearing flowers and dandelions with wishes. I’ve said it before, but there are no days prettier than perfect weather in the mountains.
This lovely pink top also comes in navy and creme (the navy is gorgeous!). It’s extremely lightweight and breezy enough for warmer days. I like the tassels tied to make the neckline feel a little less scandalous, but it definitely works both ways:). Speaking of tassels, I just found out these ear crawlers also come in light pink and I want them so badly! It’s completely acceptable to have the same earrings in two colors, right?
Here’s to hoping I get to see the sun a little longer this week, despite the thunderstorms headed our way. How’s spring where you are?
