There’s no doubt that warm colors are best worn during the fall. I don’t mean warm as in the art-class-category of warm colors, I mean warm as in welcoming, inviting, easy on the eyes. I tend to lean toward them year round [personal preference, and all] but during the fall, they are at home.
Navy and brown are the perfect colors for a neutral outfit. I honestly think that I would like this look a bit more if the shirt was closer to burnt orange than red. All these shades seem to fit the chilly weather and cloudy days that come with the fall. Truth be told, this girl is ready for some snow. Despite whatever age I am, I still get giddy with anticipation at the possibility of a snow day. There are very few feelings better than the news of a delay or cancelation – one of those feelings being sips of hot chocolate or coffee on those lazier days. Perhaps that’s why I’m meant to live in the mountains, when snow days are supposed to be more frequent. [Here that, God? I’m ready.] Irrelevant, I know. I’m just slightly jealous of the bits of America already experiencing that fluffy goodness.
