Is it just me, or does an all black outfit make you feel instantly cooler😎?
Sure, I wear olive green year-round. Everyone has a handful of colors that they can just rock, that are naturally beautiful on them. But black? Black is everyone’s color. I honestly believe that it works with both pale or tan skin, depending on how you accessorize it or utilize make-up to prevent looking washed out. I also don’t think that black gets the time it deserves in the summer, especially on the potentially cool evenings. The most slimming color? Um… yes. I’ll take a wardrobe full of that, please and thank you.
How to Rock All Black When You Just Don’t Feel It
- If you’re typically hooked on brights this time of year, try accessorizing the look with cobalt shoes or neon earrings.
- If you tend to get warm easily, make sure to get breathable fabrics and stick to breezy skirts.
- If you feel like black makes you look a little on the “ghost” side of life, try accentuating your cheeks with a bolder blush than normal, or contouring those cheekbones.
- If you don’t like wearing an outfit of just one color, do it anyways:) Branch out!
Black looks tend to give me more confidence than I normally have. I’m always in favor of feeling better about myself.
((And isn’t this just the daintiest necklace you ever did see? It was sent in my Rocksbox (which you still can get a month free to give it a try using “darlingdearestblogxoxo”:)!) and I’m quite the fan! It’s a bit out of my price range, but this necklace is much less expensive and super similar!))
